ok i know there are a few recent posts about cluster swaps, but they are for 2000+ clusters, i want to know if i can put a 95-99 cavy cluster in my sunfire with no wiring or anything like the 2000+ j's

You can not simply plug them in, as they use different harnesses. Also, they mount slightly differently, so you would have to modify the base of the dash slightly.

If you are interested, I may be able to make swap harness for you, as I have a bunch of various Delphi connectors. I'll have to check and see if I have the female version of the Sunfire one. I know I do on the Cavalier ones, but I can't remember if I ever ordered any Sunfire ones. PM if you're interested, and I'll check my plug inventory.

k i was just wondering, because i can get a cavy cluster with a reverse glow overlay from a friend but im not too concerned if it wont fit, ill just get the overlay for a sunfire cluster, but thanks for the offer though

i bought a cluster from a '98 sunfire and tried to fit it in my car thinking it would just plug right in and fit. obviously not. I have a '98 Z24 Auto and was wondering where i could find a harness and how would i get the sunfire cluster to fit in where the cav's mounts??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
