are all the center console lids the same on 95-05 cavaliers?
Don't think they are. 00-05 they are for sure.

That is correct, 95-99 have a different window switch frame. If you want to use a 00-05 center console you must get the window switch panel as well as the rest of the center console.
Hes not asking about the console it self. he asking about the LID COVER. and no they are not all the same. the newer consoles are shaped differently so the lids will not fit snug or close completely.

not true I had a 2000+ lid on my 99 center console. now it didnt lock down but I didnt care. it did screw on the same way as the 99 one but the lock part just doesnt work but I did it because the 00+ one is MUCH more comfortable

95-99 - Single cupholder in lid
00-05 - 2 cups in lid
IIRC, I tried to put the cover from 95-99 on the casing(bottom part) of the 00-05 and it didn't work,
However, I never tried to just swap the entire lid... so could work
it does screw on.. it just wont close all the way.
it closes it just doesnt lock
