I believe they will plug in but i don't wanna promise yea, if you can go back and get the pass. air bag, and the module from under the seat from the 03. If you don't you'll have to take it down to the dealer and get the new bag programed.

The bag will work perfect with no codes, Had a steering wheel and airbag from a grand prix in my sunfire and had it smashed when someone pulled out in front of me, everything deployed quiet nicely. so its just swap and good to drive.
I know swapping the module will throw an airbag code since the part number would be different than that in the bcm which would result in having to get the bcm programmed to accept it(Its this way to prevent wrong airbag modules from being installed)

not saying your wrong or right, but for the $50 tops the gm dealer is going to charge you to program it properly, are you willing to risk it? last time i i changed a bag it threw codes until programed.

listen to either of us, but at the end of the day, your car, your life, your decision.

I would swap and see what happens if the light goes out after seven blinks after starting your good to go, any idea what codes it threw? just wondering if its different resistances or something like that.
