ok the nuts that are holding my front seats down are rusted to the point you cant put a wrench or socket on them(good 'ol road salt) any sugestions on how to go about getting them off?
yea put the socket on the nut and hammer it in, it works i tell you.
Use some wd-40 to loosen them up a bit
If that doesnt help take a strong pair of channel-locks and get a good grip.
vise grips...doesnt anyone use vise grips anymore!?! lol
I would WD-40 or PB blaster the hell out of it, give it awhile to soak in good, then use some vise grips, if a no go, you could always hammer a wrench or socket onto it...if still a no go, ive welded nuts onto stripped/really rust crap before, just clean and weld a new nut on and its a whole new game then lol

Vise grips are your friend. If all else fails when working on my car, I get the vise grips out!
