you can't buy an adapter for a 03-05 J-body, you have to swap out the hole steering column to a 95-02 one.

Now you may get lucky, some 03's got the old style column, some got the new, so the only thing you can do is try, buy the 6 bolt momo and try it on your column, if it doesn't work, than swap out the column...that's what i had to do on my 05

the diff. between the 95-02 and 03-05 is somewhat hard to notice, you can't tell buy just looking at it, you have to try the adapter on, the splines will be vary vary similar but for some odd reason gm decided to make the shaft itself have a smaller radius, thus the splines don't fully lock in and the adapter will skip teeth when Turing.

As i recall it was only the early 03s that have the 95-02 shaft.

How do you know if your 03-05 cav has the older steering column shaft?

If i recall correctly you have to have an early model 03 to have the older shaft and that they made the switch in sometime in 2003. My cav was built on 11/02 so im pretty sure i have the older shaft.

ok so it turns out my car was made in 09/02 so I guess its a pre 2k column? does that mean hub adapters will work with it? and were can I find this airbag simulator?
