This is not true! If that were the case it would not reed the speed accuratly which it does. Take it from somone who actually knows. That would be me. I actually have one. Also the 140 part is only part of what makes the black cat customs gauges special. The other part is how talented he is with LED lighting. I love my black cat customs 140 LED lit instrument cluster. It is by far one of my favorite mods. Pricey it is, but you get wat you pay for. Mine is for sale since I am parting out my car.
