with a title like this...i was expecting tits...such a dissapointment...
snds i dig all the work you've put into your sunfire you make my hate for sunfires go from red to yellow
Did you ever finish painting your car?
I don't think you need a speedo that goes up to 140.
yep, looks like @!#$
its just all black primer atm
i think im just going to wait till i get my body kit and new hood then go have it professionally done
ill sand it back down and re-prime it, couple of the places i've looked at said they wont charge me 500 if i do all the prep work, that still leaves 2500 for paint tho,
even though it looks like @!#$ it still looks 100times better then it did with out the fade and sunspots, and the only reason i say it looks like @!#$ is a lot of orange peel and i don't know how to fill the high low spots in the paint
but not bad for my first big project, prob would of worked out a lot better if i had sprayed and not rolled on.

Only way to fix it is with a lot of sanding.
Some people just have to learn things the hard way.
no ones ever called me a smart ass before
You need to wet sand it.
That will get rid of the orange peel. Then about 100 coats of your rattle can clear.
Wet sand again. I would work from 1000 grit +.
Cluster from the Sunfire Autocross concept car. I'll send it to Alex at BCC to be fixed one day.
here's a couple pics of my gauges.
that was before the a pillar gauges got stolen. as for the cluster, i had an indiglo overlay with a brushed aluminum bezel over it.

I remember rocking the same setup in my 97 Sunfire years back.
