Second post of the day but I am having some issues

In a fit of rage trying to get my backseat from being stuck in the up-right locked position, I pulled the material handle out of the seat. Thinking I just ripped the material and there would still be a piece inside attached to the lock for me to grab with some needle nose pliers I was mistaken, the material was still intact which means I've broken the mechanizm inside the seat

Is there another way to flip the backseat? I've tried using pliers to grab whatever flips the seat inside, aswell as using a flathead screwdriver to pry it (if its a flip latch). I did a quick search of the forums but couldnt find anything exact. Also there is no access from the trunk due to my oversized sub-box, which is wired to the back of the box, which is facing the rear seats, so removing the box is impossible. Help please!
