I was driving one day and there was something on the plastic piece that i tried to get clean. I barely pulled it off and it came off almost completely. I tried putting it back in thinking there was a plastic clip in there but there wasn't. Now it is hanging down and is pretty annoying. How do I get this piece back on? it is on my drivers side right next to the winshield and driver window.

I can almost guarantee you broke the tab that is part of the piece...pull it off completely and get a different one from the junkyard, or try gluing the tab back on and be damn careful when pushing it back in place.

That is what I thought at first, but when I looked, I found no tab or clip that could have broken off or anything. It's like it was glued to the windscreen or something. Please help more.

Pull the whole thing off, you can't really see the top-most clip until you get it about 1/4-1/2 way off. Just pull with a steady, even force and it'll pop off, then you'll see it. I've pulled mine a couple times and almost had that happen once.

yeah i saw it now....here is a foam part that goes in between the two pieces and the top-most clip broke off. i think i am just going to super glue the plastic to the interior at the top. it looks like it should hold and theres like an inch so it should stay on just fine.
