Okay, I'm new to the forum, so I apologize if this topic has been covered a ton of times. Here goes anyway... I'd like to put LED's under my dash. I have an '03 Cavalier. I'd like to wire them so that they operate with my interior lights, i.e. open the doors or use the dash switch. Two things... What wire would I be looking for as the "hot" wire to tap into this circuit, and will the dimmer cause a problem with the LED's if I do it this way?
Duh... "smacks self in forehead" Ignore the "dimmer" part of the question. I was thinking of the the dash lights "dimmer" function of the dash switch. I only realized after the post that it doesn't dim the interior lights.
