Hey guys. I've been looking around on the site and I see a lot of good work interior/and exterior wise. I noticed someone asking if anyone still makes triple gauge pods, and it sounded like everyone pointed to the cheap glowshift ones that I believe you have to screw in. Well I also want one of these, but my buddy actually just had one made for his G6 for only like $100 I think, so I thought Id share a few pics with you.
Basically it's a custom fab'd gauge pillar. He had a universal triple gauge pod installed on his A-Pillar in his G6 and it's textured and painted to match the original color/texture of the A-Pillar. He said they do them for any car, and sent me to their website at www.midwestautowerks.com to check it out.
Maybe I'm not looking hard enough but I haven't seen anything like this on the site, so I'm thinking about hitting them up to see if it would work for our cars. But anyway here are a few pics my buddy sent me of their work.
Here's One of the Pillar and Universal Gauge Pod Side by Side
Then of them glued together
Here it is Bondo'd, Textured, and Painted
And another one of it installed in the G6
WOW that turned out pretty good with the texture etc.
good find
Is it just me, or does that pillar just look huge, fat, and out of place?
