How do you get the cigar lighter out of a 2001 Cav, please don't tell me you have to take the whole dash out for such a simple repair.
you have to remove the front dash panel... but to do that you have to remove the top dash pad to get to the front dash panels screws lol ...
you've got to be kidding...for a cigar lighter replacememt. Did they have too many screws at GM that year?
no and there really abvious use a 7mm ratchet or a star drive thingy i had mine out in like 10 minutes. and im a girl. =]

Keep tellin yourself that. If I dont have to worry about breaking the dash panel, I can have it out in 3 seconds, just grab the bottom half and pull.

Once you take it out a few times, there is nothing to it.
The bezel will actually cause
you more grief than the thief. It is a PITA to find one in the junkyard that isnt broken. Everyone loves the quick and easy, grab and pull method of "removal".
