can i get a speedometer for my car or am i stuck with the stock one. i need to get this repaired so i wanted to know if i could just buy individual gauges or i have to change out to another stock cluster. individual gauges meaning like form Equus or autometer. i know you can install the temp and fuel ones and the rpms but what about the speedo?

Your best bet is to just get a stock cluster from a scrap yard.

its the easiest way to determine if its your gauge, or something else..

i know its my cluster. i know i need a new one but one time i had seen that some guy put in a set of digital gauges on his car. dont remember the guys name but it look nice. but he had like 4 different gauges including a speedometer. so i was asking if i could do the same thing for mine but i dont want a digital. i actually want one that has a needle. but i havent been able to find one that i can hook up to my car.

you mean something like this?

Autometer

You probably wont find something that will be plug and play. Its going to have to be a custom setup obviously. You will just have to do some research and maybe have to find the appropriate sender for GM applications.

I saw that car that you was talking about with the digital gauges. That takes a lot of money and time to do cause you would have to switch the senders to where the digital gauges can read the components. Almost all cavys and fires (with the exception of select early 90's cavaliers) have analog senders. Yet I do like that idea too. (the digi gauges one)
