ok so i know on most of the base cavys theres a clip to remove the shifter knob. So with mine being a leather-bound do i need to try to turn it? never tried to remove it yet

where? my shifter is completely leather bound. I looked all over even for a clip. so lost

just look for that very small line behind the shifter. it can sometimes be faint. but its there. i have had a few ls sport auto shift knobs
wow nvm. i had to dig it out......just got my car back today ( brother was borrowing it ) and i believe my nephew had gotten something sticky on it cuz i had to clean out the car a lil...... had this hard almost black sticky substance on it. Lame now i feel dumb thanx
