DOOR problem

this is going to sound weird but..i got a 2dr gt..the door latch let go last night so i replaced it today and now my door sunk down half an inch..what do u guys recomend to raise the door back up??

its a GM it might fall apart would not have this prob with a good ol trust worthy ford

It definitely sounds like you need to adjust the hinges, but since it happened when you changed the latch, you probably have to adjust the latch as well. You might not have noticed the door sagging on the hinges before because when it closed, the latch was pulling it back up.
