Question
Monday, April 20, 2009 11:36 AM
I am the owner of a machine shop in atlanta. We are in the process of getting involved in makiing automotive accesories and possibly some performance parts. I am looking for some input on the types of parts you are looking for and just can't find or when you can find them they are just too costly. All suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

considering every seat has a different bolt setup, that wouldn't accomplish much. They would still need to be modified to fit whatever seat the person would be using. If the person is capable of modifying a seat bracket to fit, they should be capable of making their own brackets. It's really not that tough. I've done 4 or 5 different sets.

To the OP, just a heads up.....no matter what parts you decide to make, there will be 100 people who say they will buy and 3 will come thru with the money.

I definitely understand the 100 to 3 ratio. We are open to doing anything right now. We are starting with some billet aluminum parts right now everything from direct fit shift knobs to air tanks to special fittings to hide brake lines and air lines. This is till we get some other ideas. The parts are gonna look high end but be very reasonably priced ill post some pictures when we get our displays setup. and keep the ideas coming.

i would say front and rear strut bars that are not $100+ but also not the weak $20 ones.
also, you could make a bracket to mount the ecu unit as well as the clutch fluid resorvoir all in one spot. that would be unique.

what he said.

a bracket for the clutch fluid reservoir would be great, as most of us that dont have the aem intake have it zip tied to something lol
