will an older style adapter fit? like one you can get at autozone or advanced? i just need something to fit the steering shaft for a little project i'm doing... i'll post pictures if i can find one that compatible... thanks!
yes the ones they sell at autozone will fit on the newer cavs i got one on my 01

the one from autozone will fit, it saYS UP TO 95 I THINK, BUT IT STILL FITS, I HAVE THE PART NUMBER AT HOME.
hahaha! thanks man! i have a steering wheel i want to put on but i just cant get myself to pay 75-100 dollars to put it on! ha! and what do you do about the airbag light?
price? part number? number of holes for the wheel?
i think the grant part number is 3196. As for the airbag light, either electrical tape over it (not my choice, but have seen it done), Or I believe it is a 2 ohm resistor.
