I did a little search for this but i only found threads from like 05. So i wanted to ask a couple of questions and opinions on those of you that have used the kit. What do you think? Do you like it? Is it worth getting or just buying new power regulators from the parts store and wiring it in? I did see that it said the motors were loud, but i was planning on using sound deadening on my doors since the panels are off already. any input would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
I had the kit for a week...I didnt like it that much. The motors were very loud for some reason, even with my doors sound deadened. They stopped working at least once or twice a day at the most inconvenient times, so I took my car back to the shop that installed them and had them take them off.
I have them installed now, had for about 2 months, no issues, kinda noisey but im lazy and it beats the crank. i used the stock switch. the work just fine. Also using the Spal power lock kit too

motors are fast, not too loud (course the car was pretty loud already so in comparison the motors might not seem loud)
beats the crank. install was easy. I retrofitted switches on the doors (pod option)
I want to either swap them to my 04 or get another kit for my 04.

I've had a set for 4 years now in my Sunfire and have had no problems.
I've had mine for a year now. Easy install. The motors are kinda loud but you get used to it.

are there any other decent options? I always have music playing in my car except when im on the phone, or ordering drive thru, so Im sure I wouldnt be bothered by the noise. I just wanna know what else there is.

I found that slickcar.com has it for the cheapest price that i have found for the deluxe kit.
I've had these for five years, four door kit, both front door setups have broken, I'm going back to manual power... if you guys decide to switch to power windows, mind sending me your window crank handles? I'm in NEED!!!
