Hey Guys I'm Just trying somthing I had in mind for my dash vents this is just a mock-up so far, I wanted to get a feel as to how this would look, My idea for under the mesh was to take the Black Lycra material and cover the hole openings that way air will still pass through. I know I won't be able to adjust the air flow but that doesn't really matter. The gauge bezel i used there is an extramy other one already has the center vents deleted and my passive EQ installed. let me know your opinions or Ideas. Thank You.

i don't like it. its where mesh shouldn't be basically! maybe do that w/ the vents in there. and have it on the backside of the vents!

That's another thought I'll try that and see how that looks, but like I said... this is just a mock-up, that's where all of your opinions come into play, but once I paint them and install the fabric behind them it will look better, plus as you can see my dash is not painted yet.

I'm sorry to say but I think you wasted your time cutting the mesh for those vents, I don't think it looks that good. Interesting idea though.

the only problem i see with this is that they wouldnt be adjustable. i know i adjust my vents constently

I will be painting them also I will be putting something behind them so your not looking down into the vents, as for the adjustment I don't really adjust them now so I won't be loosing anything, I drive the car about 14 miles a day the rest of the time I'm in the mini-van with the family, My dash is the color of the front of my car i was planning on painting the mesh black.
