I bought a 99 cavalier with a sunfire dash swap, but when the swap was performed the airbags were never re-installed. I didnt think much of it at the time but its been buggin me like crazy lately. First of all the airbag light is on, second just the fact of gettn into an accident and having my insurance deny my claim for tampering, third ITS SAFER lol. I was wondering if the sunfire/cavy bags are the same because i dont know which bracket is in the car and i dont want to find out i bought the wrong one after i buy it. Anyone that knows please let me know, itd be very greatly appreciated, thanks

i think the underlying bags are the same, but not the airbag covers. ie a cav DS bag wont fit into a sunfire wheel because the plastic/rubber on top of the bag is different shaped than the fire wheel. if you are going to buy bags, just get some from a fire.
