I have red superflux 4 chip LED's in my vents.

they are blue single bulb LED's. I dont want it to bee to bright because it will distract from the rest of the stuff im doing in there. i just wanted a subtle light to offset the lack of it. Rain has been hindering my process but ill get the pics up. i think im gonna try that tinfoil trick and see how it looks.

Looking forward to seeing pics. Here is a picture of mine. Not the greatest of pics, but for whatever reason, its the only one I have.

BTW, the wiring mess is not there anymore.

Wires are completely gone now. You can't see any wires now. That was just a temp setup until I got parts and took time to mount switch's how and where I wanted. If you can tell me a way to drill holes for the LED's farther back into the air vents then please do. Really the only LED visible when riding in the car or just looking around is the one on the drivers side. I got it back as far as possible.

What I did was after I took off the entire dash I drilled the holes where I wanted the bulbs to go.

I bought specific bulbs were pre assembled with the wires and the circuits.
I melted the vents around the bulbs so they would stayand let the wires hang outside of the vent.
i then added on to the wires so they were long enough to reach my switch and ground.
his as much wire as i could then put my dash back together

To each his own..I have them under my dash, I hardly turn them on, but people love them in my car, esp with my polished diamond plate floor mats to shine off of.

Maybe I'll grab some pics tonight

if its anything like a cavalier then the dash pad pulls off and you can see the duct work for the vents, the plastic duct work pulls out after removing a bolt or two.. from there ya just drill holes where ya like, wire it up, use a little electrical tape to tape the wire along the outside of the duct work and there ya go..

I did not notice that the ducting came up. Will have to look into that. Thanks!
