So i took my interior out and painted it all but for the entire time i have had it done i have never been able to find a good way to get the fabric pieces in the door pannels in there secure. How did all of you guys that took them out and reupholstered them get the pannel to go back in and stick, i have tried exopy and hot glue and neither last for more then a couple weeks, i also tried fiberglass from the back but that didnt work to hot either. Any help would be great. Thanks.
I was having the same trouble. I ended up trimming around the edges so it would go back in the grooves, then I coated the back with some rubber cement. No problems since.

heat gun and some extra plastic is what i used. I am sure a "plastic weld" would do the same thing though

when i had that cloth insert i just used screws. ,cut the melted plastic off. i put the panel back on,then put the screw where the weld was. it held find. i know phewes said he used a urethane welder. he said that worked great too.
