Door pin question

who makes a door pin kit for a 97 cavi???? i work at a carquest store and cant find any available. my doors are fallin about an inch when i open them. Motormite has nothin.

have you tried gmpartsdirect.com? They've got those, and a lot of other obscure/ miscellaneous parts.

same thing happened to me on my sunfire. i got some at canadian tire. holds perfectly now.

how much did you pay for them. chevy parts dept. told me they were hinge replacement only that you couldnt do just the pins.

Havent tried them yet....i heard you can only replace the hinges but i saw a set of pins and bushings on ebay, when i clicked buy it now, somebody bought them at the same time.

tried gmparts direct and didnt see them....only hinges....i wish i would have been on ebay a minute earlier...anybody know what company makes these

The hinge is meant to be rplaced as an assembly. It does not have serviceable pins.

saw them on ebay yesterday...pins and bushings. looks just like the ones on the car

Just look at the pins. You would have to cut off one end to even get it out.

oops i was thinking in my head about the door panel. i didnt know the whole door is hanging down an inch by you. disregard my earlier post. thats for a diff part.

this is gonna help alot... im tired of my door randomly decideing its gonn hang just low enough the latch smacks the catch and and not shut...

They worked great...only one bad hinge because it is so egged out that the bushings wont take up the space....left upper is bad. but this should help alot of people out. they run about 17$ per side and it beats the 60 bucks for a new hinge from gm

do you have an link for this on ebay
mines hang down a little cause i notice it drops when the door opens,so might have to replacing them soon also then

no link..but go to your local auto parts(i got mine right thru carquest) and order up dude. like i said about 17 bucks a side.

Does this seem for real? My drivers side door sags like a mo-fo. Here is a link to the parts I found on there website.

does it seam for real? Noooooo , those are tha fake ones they sell to people with fake cars...hell, its even a fake website..
