just wondering how the bf goodrich g-force kdw's do on the strip.
i have a set of 225/45/17's and would like to know what kind of 60's to expect. and if you have any tips on burnout or tire pressure preferences i would appreciate any input.
thanks.

I cut a couple 2.0 60' times on 235/40/17 KDW's with no burnout and normal recommended tire pressure.

^^^ wow that is pretty amazing.
did the track do more prep than usual??
and i just realized you did it with the auto. were you brake boosting it? did you have a yank in there? i cant remember.

The track had awful prep. It was at Lapeer Dragway, any Michigan guy can tell you its not a well prepped track.
My best 60' times came from launching around 1500 rpm with 0 boost/vacuum, basically brake torquing just a little over idle. I would smoke the tires like crazy doing this but it some how resulted in my best 60' times.
No Yank, stock converter.

I agree that Lapeer, but I also posted four 2.1s at Lapeer with my 14 inch steelies and the awesome sigma shadows...haha.
But from what I have seen, KDWs do pretty well at the track.
