I'll be lowering my 95 cavalier a little bit this summer, and I'd like to bring the rear wheels out for the wider footprint and also for the look.
I saw that to get my tires lined up with the fender, I'd need about a 10mm hub centric spacer. Is this too thick?
I've been searching for info on spacers and I've not come up with much that answers my questions. Everyone local sells 5mm and under, but they are all lug-centric, so I'll probably end up buying on line. Any recommendations?
Probably, I have 6mm spacers in the rear and it doesn't leave you with much bite on those studs with your lugs.

dang you run 6mm ? i thought i was pushing it with 4mm when i had my stock z rims on..
but back on topic if you want to do the 10mm spacers .. i think it would be a good idea to invest on longer studs,
Ok, I have an 04 cavalier with 97 z24 wheels. I asked this in another post also, how much bite are you guys getting? I get 8 turns. Is that safe or are you guys getting less with the spacers.
im getting custom ones made they might i work at a tire shop so all i have to do is send out to our nachine shop they will be 25mm or little smaller or larger what ever i feel like haveing made, they bolt on using the wheel studs then have a second set of studs threaded into the spacer so that you dont have to worry about how much thred your lugs have to hold onto, but the thing that sets this spacer off from all others is that it is hub centering.
WOW Im SOL when I get my wide body kit then! I was told bye the sales people that I would need 1-1.5in to make mine flush. But then ARP makes longer wheel studs!!!!!!!!!!!!
