My dad is buying new tires for his car and said I can have his old tires. His old tires are about half used, they are 225/60/16.

I found some 16" steelies that are 6.5" wide.

My question is will these tires rub on a 04 cavy w/ stock suspension. I think the wheels are from a vibe.

Yeah, you're going to have rubbing problems when you turn, and maybe when you hit bumps. Those tires are way too tall, Almost an inch taller on the sidewall. Although when you look at it from the side, it might look fine, you have to turn the car lock-to-lock and see how much clearance you have on the inside.
