I'm looking at buying some wheels with 235/35/18 tires on it. I realize the tires are too wide but I was wanting to know how bad will they rub? Could I still run these if I used 6mm wheel spacers in the front to help? Anyone running these without problems?

The offset is 42. They are 18"x7.5" in size.

Bump, anyone know?

it really depends. I'm going to say yes, due to the offset. sounds like they'll rub on the spring perch on the strut, and possibly rub on the fender, depending on how far you're lowered.

Well I don't think it will rub on the spring perch, I'm on ground controls so there is no perch and the springs are a lot smaller. I am lowered probably 3" though.

235-40-18 and no rubbing here, on a 18x7.5" wheel with a 40MM offset. Dropped on d-specs and sprints.

235/30/20 40 offset on the wheel I just just clear..... so you should be fine i think
I managed to put a 235/40/18's on my '05 Sunfire. The rims they are on are 18x8's w/ 42 offset. They fit fine in the rear. On the front, I am running heavily modified coilovers, so the spring seat isn't in the way. I also had to 'massage' the body seam on the rear side of the front wheelwell. This entailed removing the plastic wheelwell liner and pounding the seam flat. I then heat formed the plastic liner. Out of paranoia, I also rolled the fender lip. Nothing rubs this way and it looks nice. if you're squeamish about making it fit, then this isn't the fitment for you.

I'm running 235/45/17's... no sweat with a +42mm offset, on knock-off black MR7's....
