offset w/ type j kit

hey guys, quick question. im lookin for some wheels.
i know the offset on the cavalier, and what it SHOULD BE. my question is, with the type j bodykit i have it makes the rear tires sit really far in (under the body rather than flush with the bodykit.

what kind of offset or things could i do to make it look more flush. i dont like the way the wheel sits behind the edge of the car. i would prefer it to be even or right near the rear 1/4 panel edge.

sorry if that didnt make sense.

wheel spacers? offset choices? wider wheel?

im not to worried about loss in performance, im not building a racecar. and im not lookin to put huge wheels on the car, just enough to sit well. so dont flame me for my suggestion of "wider wheels"
