Should I stick with a 205-55-R16 Tire or go bigger

I need tires like no tomorrow

But don't know if I should maybe go up to a 215-55-R16 or even a 225-55-R16 for the rear and or do that all around.

I was very happy with the stock tires they lasted more then 70k RSA's that were 205-55-R16's

The car is For-Sale at this time and would like to put all new rubber on the stock rims to better the sale along with the steelies and winters.

But I don't know if i should put a bigger tire on the rims from them, will the price go up a lot

I'm going with Fuzion ZRI or Hankook venture k104's or the 102's if I can find two more

just need a hand on the tire size please

thanks

I'm taking it that these are for the stock rims?

there's LOTS of threads here on the best tire size for stock rims.

Just put 4 225-50-16's on your wheels and call it a day.

will the fenders need rolling at all

the price I got were for 205-55-R16 Im looking at about $580 said and done mounted and balanced

Do you have pics of this 225-50-R16 that I can see to see how much wider they are and did you have to trim anything and how did the speedo go.

if you're selling the car, why go bigger? it won't add a penny to value of your car

LOL why would your fenders need rolling? You can stick your whole head in the wheel gap since your on stock suspension...

You wont need fender rolling. Alot of people on here run 225-50-16 on stock wheels. Especially the LS Sport chrome wheels. But if you are selling the car just keep it stock size.

215 is as big as id go.. itd be noticeable, but..i highly doubt 225 would fit. there isnt a big price diff with diff size tires, 6 or 7 dollars each size up.
