Ok so I have a 98 cavalier 5sp that I am wanting an updated/cleaner look. I have the
spiral type 15" wheel covers that were in horrible shape when I got this car. Bent outer ring, dinged up and just flat out dirty beyond what lots of elbow grease and your recommended cleaners from other posts could clean up. Since purchasing rims is out of my budget, I found
these that I liked. They look clean and are more within budget. So my questions are...
Would these fit off a 03-05 fit on my 98 over the 15" steel rim?
Do any of you know where I can get a full set for pretty cheap?
- I went to the local wrecker yards and was unable to find a complete set that either wasnt broke in half or people were walking on grinding them into the gravel. Some people just dont understand that someone else might have wanted or needed that. Ebay wants between $10-15 each plus $10 shipping and they were all for single wheel cover auctions so that would have been $80-100.
Do any org members that upgraded to rims have a set in the garage or basement that they want to get rid of?

Thx, sent him a pm. Hope he doesnt mind. I cant believe that most of the covers I have found in the scrap yards have been used as stepping stones. I guess people would rather grind them into the dirt and gravel instead of getting thier shoes a bit dirty.

assuming i get the rims I am after. You can have my set. they are in good shape to the best of my knowledge. They are the spiral type though.
Im not a big fan of the spiral type. I am heading to the wrecking yard this weekend to see if I cant find one, maybe 2 of the 5 spoke type. Might take me a few scouring weekends but its better than paying $40 shipped/per cover from some guy on ebay that probably found it on the side of the road. Thanks for the help guys.
