hey guys
i have a 96 sunfire and i bought a set of lowering springs for it and the name of them are CM lowering and they are 1.4 inches and are not installed on the car yet . i am thinking of buying a set of 16 inch rims off my buddy for a good deal .
my question is are the springs low enough .... cause i don't want very much wheel gap .
also another question is would i need a good set of shocks like kyb or anything or will my stockers do for now until i can afford get get a set
let me know
thanks
chris
what do you really mean by low enough,
I have the eibach pro-kit and I love how they sit, look like they sit even front and back, maybe a little lower in the front, but I do have alot of stuff in the back,
I would have gone with the sportlines, but I use my car alot for trips, so having it that low would not have been fun.
and yes, you should really look at getting struts that will handle the drop, KYB AGX are what I have and I like them,
check the classifieds on here, you may be able to find a nice set for cheap, I did, I think I paid 500 or so for the struts and springs,
that is how I see it I guess
one pic of mine, bad angle, but I like how it sits
i dont wan tit very low cause the roads around are very bad .. sooo with a 1.4 inch all around with and a set if 16 inch rims well be perfect i guess .. like i dont say it will be that low .
ya i am gonna get a set of struts for my car
