Looking at Snow tires to put on my STOCK Sunfire GT Rims(2002 Sunfire GT)
Will 225 60 R 16's fit on these rims?
I guess what I want to know is 225 too wide??

either 225-50-16 or 205-55-16 is ok. i would get 205-55-16 for winter. 225-50-16 is a more of a summer size. 225-60-16 is to big and the speedometer will be off. Alot.
ok, I agree with you totally.
The 225/60 16's are on craigslist and are CHEAP!! so I hoped they would fit.
I suppose a 60 size would be tall and scrape?

Also generally for winter you want a taller skinnier tire that will cut through the snow instead of spread the weight out and stay on top of the snow.
