Hey guys i need some advice... i need to know what i can do to make these wheels fit on my J. I want 19x8's (know will fit ) in the front and 19x9.5's (don't know??) on the rear but they dont come in our lug pattern. The only lug pattern they make that wheel size is in a camaro or corvette (5x120) offsets (20&45) only. Is there any way i can change the drums out ??? Are there any adapters? Im going to put flares on the rear anyways so i hope they dont stick out further because of the adapters or offsets.

The wheels are TSW-ESTORIL

Flares arent going to solve your problem. We just put 19x8 all around and had to REALLY roll the rear quarter for it not to hit. Meaning we roll it to the point where we flared that part of the quarter panel. We had some 2" fiberglass flares being molded on the car anyways so we were just doing what it took to get them to fit. On my last widebody, I actually cut the entire arch of the wheel well out then pinched the quarter back in and welded it back to the tub to make it so my rims could come out to line up with the widebody. ( I actually suggested that to Big Poppa wayyyy back and I think it is what he did too.) These are my two experiences with large, wide rims on a cavalier. I saw your other post too but I think theres a little more to it than your realizing.

yeah thats wut i was thinking about doing to cutting out the rear wheel well and pushing it in some and raising it some so it wouldnt rub. Kinda wut they do on trucks when they body drop them the put the pre made wheel wells. The flares are just to cover where im going to cut outside of the rear fenders or (quarter panels). Do you have any idea on what to do bout the diff. bolt pattern?
I appreciate the help thanks
It would be better to just get wheels that fit...
Just a thought
I think there is a NWF-body IRS swap in the suspension FAQ. check that or buy some adapters. If you are gonna be flaring it and cutting stuff anyways they probably wouldnt be THAT bad.

this thread is hiliarious!
Whats hilarious? I have PERSONAL EXPERIENCE (besides incorrect lug pattern) in this. He asked a question, Ive done it, so I answered. Actually I just reread and saw that the lug pattern was 5x120 so the IRS swap I suggested wont work. Besides the lug pattern what is your problem with this post? I made the same suggestion to Big Poppa when he ran into the issue and he did it. Was his thread hilarious? Last I checked, his project came out fine and he now has a gorgeous car. There are a LOT of dumb questions posted on here but an ignorant reply such as "this thread is hilarious" doesnt help anyone.

thats hiliarious. you done this before? seriously think about how much work it takes to fit a 9.5"
wide rim on the rear of a j. flaring and cutting wont be that bad?
adaptors?
you can fit any rim you want on your car it all takes work, whoever you are that needed to roll your fenders bad to fit 8" wide rims you need to research more on offsets. with a 9.5" rim get a 42mm offset in the rim you want and add a spacer/hub adapter

then see my "offset calculator post" and you should be able to figure it out from there if you need any help feel free to ask and before anyone says it cant be done I have done mine and helped vince (Big Poppa) figure out the proper offset and space for his car as well and he will feel free to tell you that it did work but yes it does need a lil cutting but if your doing flares your going to want to cut the fenders anyways.
The last car we did the rims were actually 19x8.5 IDK the offset b/c i had no part in ordering them. He asked for my help, I drove up and did it. NOW- this guy said hes already planned on flaring it. I know for a fact it didnt take me over 3 hours to cut the arch out and reweld the quarter back into the wheel well 100% of the way around. Considering the amount of time it is going to take him to do the flares and whatnot, I dont think an extra 3 hours is that big of a deal. And yes, I HAVE DONE THIS. I didnt realize at first he said anything about 5x120 pattern but the rest of what I said still holds true.
