could he run 22 in the front ? If they were 7.5 in wide?

Re: Who's car?
Monday, September 24, 2007 8:43 AM
if he hacked up the whole front of his car sure but thats alot of work to make 22s fit up front

Re: Who's car?

even if its a 7.5?

Re: Who's car?

What size tire would that be?

I'm guessin these are his new wheels .

Still wondering why not running a 22 in front. The rim is a 7.5 why shouldnt this work?

only asking ..

Re: Who's car?

the first ones are his new rims

there is alot more involved then just the width of the rim. yes you can fit 22s in the front but you would have to lift the car so when you turn, the tire doesnt rub on anything.

if you want it slammed like his car, there is a ton more work involved. look at the rear and see whats involved in that. in order to do the front, you will have to pretty much cut out the wheel wells, widen the fenders, move alot of items in the engine bay, etc... im sure theres much more thats involved in it.

the 22's are 8.5 wide and the offset is 35mm. and i think the chrome rims are his new ones i think i remember him saying his putting the "flower" ones on his girlfriends car.

ok so you can fitt 22's on front .. 22x7.5
But you have to lift car all the way up to ride right?

Re: Who's car?

you can fit 40" rims if you want as long as its tall enough to clear the wheel wells so you can turn freely

what striped is getting at is if your basicly running on easystreet bags on the front or any bolt on air product on the front you will not have enough lift to turn your wheels. you will have to make your own front suspension to get enough lift to run 22's in the front. is it possible for sure but how much do time and money do you want to put into is up to you and when you can just throw a 20 on there it makes it a whole lot easier

ok ! Im sure the avalanche pulling the trailer that it rides on will stop and go Quite nicely..
You might wounder why i want BIG wheels for ? Well i took my 18" BIGG wheels off My Pt Crusier and putt them on my cavalier. Wow they look so little on there! Even if i Lowered my car the kit would be on the ground and i would still have a big fender gap.. Thats the reason why i want to go with bigger wheels.

thats because those tires on those wheels look much smaller than a 225/40/18. the smaller the tire, the bigger the gap is going to look. not to mention on those wheels they have a lip all the way around which is going to make the rim look smaller. when i was bagged on 18s, my 18s fit my wheel wells perfectly

You cant sport 22's in the front on air because I believe the frame would sit on the tires. When spyderwizard flipped his easystreet mount to drop like an inch lower his stockers sat on the frame. BUT...even on air sitting on the ground 20's look big.

STREET ANTIX, it's coming...
