K I have no idea what the proper preasure for these tires is. It says max 50 psi on the sidewall. What should I be actually running for DD?
Oh I forgot to mention I have been running like 25 PSI the tires look fully inflated but after reading a few posts I think I have been running them to low I wanna make sure there right. Thanx guys.
around 35 should be what you want to run them
I put most 18's at work to about 35 psi. It is a good happy medium for tire wear and protecting the rims from potholes.
would it be the same principle for 215-35-18?

if that 215/35R18 was going to put on a j, then no it wouldnt.
first off thats a small tire size for a j-body, smaller than the original diameter and isnt really recomended. but if you were to put that size on a j-body, the pressure would be mich higher than the 35-36 psi. it would be in and around 40 psi needed to maintain the weight of the vehicle on a size like that because of the amount of load the smaller size can carry over the larger size at the same given pressure.
40 psi is just a guess at the moment, if i remember i will check the load inflation table at my work.
