ok I have currently 215/40/17 I need something that is compatible maybe slightly smaller but in 18s would this be 215/35/18? I did a search and couldn't come up with anything solid. thanks in advance.

why do you need a smaller tire? 215/40/18 is fine to run for 18s and isvery close to the correct tire size to run
because I bought bear brakes and need the clearence for the caliper, and the smaller aspect so it won't rub the front bumper.

17s looks cleaner IMO. but 18s look pretty cool also

if your vehicle came equiped with 205/55/16 stock then a correct size fitment would be a 225 /45 /17 this will allow for the same rolling diameter as the 205/55/16 but give you a wider footprint since the tire width is 225mm vs, 205mm stock
a 215 really isnt going to give you that much traction sifference and look skinny on the car
remember the reason for a wheel size swap is to give the vehicle another look or stance and putting too narrow a tire will defeat what your trying to accomplish
THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE, i have already died once and im still here so lets just leave it on the track
tires will have nothing to do w/ your brakes. i have 18s with 225/40/18s over my baer brakes and its fine. plus the car is lowered 2 1/2"
true on that aspect, so we've established that 18's on my 2nd gen would work fine, thank you for that..
