yes,
215/55r16, 225/50r16.
I personally think that the 225 look a little wide on the rims, but yes they will safely fit with out any problems,
I want to get some 225/40zr18 on prob a 7. 5 inch rim, installed a set on a friends car on thursday, they were hot!!!!

the 225/50's will just squeze on (double check the tire specs for minimum rim width).

personally, the 225's aren't all that great on the 6" wide wheels. the 205's are probably one of the best ones you can use.

I went with 225/50/16 with my Falkens last month and couldn't be happier with my choice to step up and get a wider tire. Believe me you won't regret it; go with the 225/50/16.

it's a personal choice, some like it some don't, I don't think it will hurt any, I like the width, I would just want a wider rim so it sits more flush, but that's me (said the one with virtually a bone stock Z)

Has anyone ever tried the Yokohamas AVID V4s? I was planning on buying a set , I just went through a front set of toyo proxes 4 and i seen that these have similar design for water evacuation, same traction and temp ratings but a higher treadwear http://www.yokohamatire.com/TireSizes.asp?TireID=48
