Ok. so i have a deal where i can get a set of the 14" fiero wheels for free for my car. my question is has anyone done it? Does anyone have piks? and what are your guys opinions. im currently running on 14" steelies and wont be able to get diff wheels for a while. so this is the best thing i came up with. comments and criticisms are more than welcome. just looking for a general idea.
anything is better than steelies... roll on those till you can get some new rims.
also, they're free! you'd be crazy not to take them.
Check out my build thread!
14" snowflakes, I'm guessing?
Well....they'll fit. If the tires are decent, I guess they're an improvement. They're actually the same wheel that came on Grand Ams, Sunbirds and other mid 80s FWD Pontiacs.

2006 tC - Dust Covered, but driven more
They are not the same as the grand am wheels, well almost, but they have a different offset. Thay have a lip around the edge and will sit wider, and in my opinion look better than the snowflakes from a grand am because of the lip and wider stance. They are not light, evern for a freaking 14" x 6 wheel the grand am snowflakes weigh in at a whopping 17 lbs, I have weighed one myslef. The fireo wheels may weigh a little less, as from my research wheels with a higher offset seem to weigh a little less.
here you go, these were on my car when i bought it
agreed. the deal fell through anyways. hehe. im moving on to bigger better things
What you need is some nice 15" Fiero GT diamond lace wheels. I put my 15's on my beater Cavalier when I got new Mille Miglia's for the Fiero. The wider stance does improve handling a bit as well. Here's a photoshop. The wheels actually have a bit wider stance than this pic. Also, it has a sort of fisheye to it, so the rear wheel appears much too small.
They come in gunmetal, gold, or black with a polished lip. GT wheels through '87 had the same offset, '88 wheels were a bit narrower on the front. Black wheels were available only on 88's, although these wheels refinish well. They're really light too!
those look alot better than mine--lol, but then again 4 cement blocks look better than mine.

I kinda like the snowflakes, actually. I suppose there's no accounting for taste.

I think the snowflakes would look good refinished, in black or gunmetal, also the fiero snowflakes look better because they have a higher offset so they stick out more and look wider and have a lip so there is more depth to them. I would not call the 15" fiero wheels light for a 15x7 stock wheel they are not bad but they do weigh in at 18.5 lbs (digital scale at work) the 7" width plus the higher offset did handle better than the wheels I have on now though, but didn't look quite as good and stuck out a little too far in front, just a very little...
i would rather have beretta GTZ wheels
Im diggin the black steelies with gold/brass colored lug nuts
