bolt pattern question - VERY IMPORTANT
Thursday, June 14, 2007 9:39 PM
I have a set of mags+tires to sell...
They are DAI ALLOYS 17 inch (5x100 / 5x114) bolt pattern (10 holes in total).
They were installed on my cavalier which was 5x100. Now I am selling them
possibly to a guy driving a Toyota Camry which is 5x114.
My question is, will the mag fit onto his car since my mags are universal 5 lug
5x100/114 and does he use the same holes as the ones I used? I ask this
because the other 5 holes don't have this adapter where the lug bolt tightens
itself into the mag when using the airgun to bolt the mag onto the car...
(my expertise on cars is very low...)

Please help me out???

Basically, they will fit into the same holes as it was installed on my cavalier... put the 5 bolts through the same 5 holes onto the camry (cavalier: 5x100, camry: 5x114)... ???
What do those numbers mean anyhow and how does the mag make sure that it is compatible with both 100 & 114?

no he doesnt use the same holes. id double check your lug pattern on the wheels. the 92 and up camrys are 114.3. any way if the wheels are 114.3 also they will fit. if they are a universal 5 they will fit.

the numbers 5x100 mean (5 studs spaced at 100mm)

If I'm not mistaken, the Camry would use the five holes the Cavalier didn't. I don't know about the adapter but they should fit.

Just sell 'em and if they don't fit, that's his problem
