VOXX, Nankang, Falken ...

Hi,

I have a cavalier 2001 z24 and a local dealer here in canada has a special on friday. He is selling 4 wheels VOXX-210 with 4 Falken tires ZE512 215/45/17 FOR $1049 PLUS TAX CDN. Is this a good deal? It includes tthe caps, lugs, valve stems, etc.

Would it be better to pay more to get the Falken 452? Or should I pay less and get the Nankang tires? What are your recommendations?

Thanks in advance,

Gabriel

I would get the FK-452 but between the ZE512 and Nankang....I would get the ZE512.

I have Falken ZE512's on my new rims, and I love them so far, I've only had them for 2 weeks but driving on them for 2 weeks everyday I say wow I love these tires. Best tires I've ever owned however I don't have much to compare from seeing as the last set I had were the stock Eagle RS-A's haha... It sounds like a good deal to me but I have no idea how much the Voxx wheels go for alone.

I have had nangkang tires on my 18's and they wore down fast and the tread started to separtate from the tire when i had plenty of tread left....I wouldn't recomend them to anybody.

just my .02

i've got the falken ZE512's on my stock z24 rims and i love them. i've had them since the end of september and put about 8-9,000 miles on them and there is only little wear on them. I actually just rotated them yesterday and the fronts were only a little worn on the outsides from turning and such(and i dont take it too easy on them lol) They handle good, dont cost an arm and a leg, and the tread pattern looks cool

Same tires, same issue -- on only one of them so far, but it's probably only a matter of time before the rest follow. If I hadn't gotten them virtually for free, I'd probably be upset. It gives me an excuse to save for new tires in the proper size.
