I need a new set of tires soon ..really soon actually and im lookin for tires that are both good on the track and good on the street. . any ideas. not looking to spend over 400, thanks
If you're not willing to spend money, your not going to find much for $400. I spent about $450 for my tires, and I get them at cost.. but they are worth every penny. I would have had to pay double that almost if I didn't get tires at cost.
1983 Camaro Z28
thanks how are those hankook tires there like 55 dollars a tire $220 for all four tires seems a little cheap. would they be a good buy?
Yokohama AVS ES-100's. Should be able to get them for close to that price depending on the size.
Adam - The Hankook's are a great deal for price to performance, but they are a little hard. I'd prefer Toyo Proxes for everyday use, but I plan on getting drag radials for track days and these are my everyday tire. They are the best on rain though. Cuts right through.
So, if you are going to use a differnet tire at the track, these are great daily tires.
well i havent even brought my car to the track yet is has 70k miles on it its my daily driver car kinda nervous somethin could brake down there so i wont be needing diff tires if i go ill use the same tires for street drivin and at the track thats why i wanted to know if there was one set that would be decent for track and good on the street
