My first impression is that you should go ahead and shave it if you want -- that looks good. But I actually prefer the ride height where it is. I just like the way the wheels are perfectly framed by the fenders.

I don't feel very strongly about either the ones you have, or the ones 'shopped in. Both look good. I'd maybe lean slightly toward the new ones.

make yourself happy and plan for the future, don't waste all your money now
