so im lookin at getting some falken torque 5 rims, 17'' by 7'' jus wonderin if anyone has them and what they think of them, good quality, pealing or anything?

I'm guessing no one has these or has had them, heres a pic, maybe someone can help me as well. As I am planning on getting some of these Torque 5's. Black matte with Polished lip. Anyone have any experience with Falken rims?

My buddy has them. They are a pretty high quality rim.. The only down part he had about them was the clear coat on the lip started peeling, but i think he sent them back and they re did them for free, all he had to do was pay shipping. But overall nice wheels...hope that helps out a little.

i have them in 17's and i love em. i've had em about a year and a half they havent seen a lot of salt living in iowa due to storing the car the last two winters but still have one spot where the clear is peeling off the lip

How much did you pay for your rims and tires together? Rim man told me 1700. I dunno wtf kinda tires he's putting on them, because priced from numerous websites that I've seen the rims alone are 120 apiece, that puts it at 480 for the rims.

Yeah, its pretty funny..because I priced them on Wheelsnext.com and 17x7 with 205/40's are 749.
I know 205/40's are the wrong size, but I'm sure it wouldn't be too much to change em up.

hahaha, i started this thread a long time ago, and instead i went out and bought some tenzo r passion 5s..... but i still like the falkens too, jus fliped a coin and the tenzo's won.
