Hey guys....Ive got a chance to buy rims and tires for my j-body

The rims are American Racing 17 inch AR-86

and the Tires are toyos i think ...that are W rated...hes asking 600 bucks....what you think? let me know.

i think you need to give more information like rim width, offset, tire size

seems like we are suppose to know everything these days. we also need to know the bolt pattern (i know sounds stupid but some people get rims with the wrong pattern)

Considering I just googled the AR-86s, which are Type SRs by the way, I found them at $86 a rim. If its the price for everything + shipping and they are new, its a fair price. If they are used then I'd say different. If you need specs or offsets look them up on AR's site, they have all the info for the rims. Can't expect us to do everything.

Also just so you know the old 86s are only offered in chrome (686 series) now and I believe they are no longer in alloy. So if they are chromed rims new are running $600+ w/o skin. You can still find the old 86s on some wheel sites, but if you ever need to replace one it may be a little harder to do since the rim is only offered in chrome now.
