just put on new 17-7" Kobe Viz-5 rims /w 215-45-17 tires and im hearing a squeaking sound from some of the rims when backing up or sometimes when going slow forward. any ideas on what it is?

what are the brake pads like on the car? the the metal tabs hitting the rotors? that might be your squeeling that your hearing.

how are the wheel bearings, is there any play? when you jack the car up can you wiggle the wheel up and down kinda like it's loose?

Sounds like a suspention issue. YOu are going to have to listen outside the car while a friend is backing up the car.

Rims can nott squeek. You are rubbing on caliper, drum or wheel well. But the actual
RIM can not
squeek.
