Out of curiosity would this mess up the handling?
I know that there are Corvette's out there that have a bigger rim in the back and a smaller rim in front. They are rear drive but don't know if that would work with a front wheel drive car.
My objective is to fill up more of the wheel well on a 98. I plan on dropping it 1.5 inches but that is about it.
I know no one would really say this is a good idea but still I was thinking about the Vette wheels and decided to let you kick this around some.
I am not even sure which wheels I would use at this point but there are some look a like wheels in 16's and 17's all though I know the width might be greater on the 17's. Also wouldn't be able to rotate the wheels but what do the people with a Vette do?
Maybe it makes no sense but I am sure it would look different just hoping it wouldn't be a mistake with handling.
Has anyone tried this approach, ever????
I have seen 19's on the front and 20's in the rear of a Cav.
Not sure about the rotating tires my guess they would have to un mount the tires and swap them on the rear. OF they are directional. IF not directional they can swap the rear from one side to the other like wise the front.

In some ways it might look more like the Cavalier dragster. I have a sedan and I think that if I get a supercharger and power cut outs for the exhaust it would blow some peoples minds.
I like the idea of making a front wheel drive look like it is rear wheel driven.
Then I could but a sunroof in like the funny cars have for an escape hatch for kicks.
Hey it is x-mas and I am having fun. Maybe I had too much eggnog.
If anyone has a picture of something like this please put it on here.
Also switching tires to the opposite side could always be an option.
I've done a 14f/16r in the wintertime.
And x2 on the eggnog
Hey Kardain did the car ever skid in a bad way on snow or ice? That is one issue I am concerned about.
Also how did it look with that set up with 14 front and 16 rear?
Or I could go 15 front and 17 in the rear......
For about 2 months or so I had 15 on the front and 17 on the back because I popped a tire and had to spend some money on some things for school before I could buy a new tire. Honestly it didn't relaly feel that much different driving it...when I had 17 on the front and 15 on the back it was horrible though. If I actually ahd cool rims that were 15s when I had the 15 in the front it probably would have looked alright
