Will an 18

So, here's the deal: I absolutely LOVE these TSW Vortexes, but according to a friend of mine they won't fit properly. I figured I would come on here and see what people have to say, so here are my questions:

1. Will an 18" x 8" wheel with a +35 offset stick out enough to look bad on a 2002 Sunfire GT with no body kit?
2. If they will stick out, is there any way to adjust anything so they won't stick out?
3. The car will be lowered on Eibach Pro Kit springs (1.4") and KYB AGXs, will these wheels rub on anything in the wheel wells?
4. What would be the proper size tire for these wheels, 215/40/18 or 225/40/18? I see that TSW's site recommends the 215 tire, but would it be possible to run a 225 for a little more rubber?

If anyone has 18" x 8" wheels with +35 offset I would love to see pictures of how they fit and I would also love to hear about any issues you've had with them rubbing, etc.

I am really hoping for some good news here because I think my car would look incredibly hot with these 18" wheels and some nice big brakes all around .

Thanks in advance.

I know a guy around here has 8inch wide rims with a 38 offset and they come realllllllly close to the front fenders, but he doesn't rub supposedly on a 1.75 drop. This is a 97 gt btw

yes its fine. yes you can lower it 1.4". the proper tire size is 225/40/18. if you feel that the tire is gonna be too close you can always get a slightly smaller tire a 215/40/18

heheh the 35 offset should be fine , i just ordered thes in 18 x 7.5 and a 40mm offset and the company guaranteed me they will fit on my car no problem at all

so hopefully there right cause that will suck if there too big and ive asked the company and numerous other people and they all say i should be fine so next week will tell when the rims and tires get here and oh the rims will have 225/40/18 cooper ZPT
