Just like the title sais...
Well..... While im driving my car, on the passanger side in the front i hear a clicking noise. The slower i go the louder it gets it seems. And when i turn the wheel to the right it stops. And when im going straight or to the left its there,i hear it.
Sometimes i never hear it after driving for a while.
Does anyone know what this could be?
Please help a fellow .org member out!!

I get screeching sometimes when driving...a slight swerve side to side makes it go away for a while..
Check your brakes. Im pretty sure my driver side brake caliper is seizing up...
when mine did that it was a wheel bearing or cv joint
wheel bearing would be a humming noise not a clicking noise. check your cv joints
When i check it, what am i looking for with the CV joint?

To go with the above post i made... How much would it cost to replace this, if its the case of the CV joint that is the problem?

its easier and less expensive to just replace an axle rather the joint, hell sometimes its cheaper then changing the boot
When i check it, what am kind of problem am i looking for on the CV?

Its probably just a rock in the tire
Its def not a rock... its to loud of a ticking sound and its always there when i first drive the car.

Well i checked the CV joint and the strut mounts both seems to be good. But i did notice on the back of my rotor (not front) where it looks like there are 3 grooves forming. So im guessing its something to do with the breaks....

thats not going to make a clicking noise. that would make more of a screeching noise. the only thing i can think of and am 90% sure of is that its the CV Axle. try brining it to a shop and see what they say.
that is what my cavy did a few weeks back, IT WAS CLICKING and IT WAS THE WHEEL BEARING. Mike - get ahold of me and let me check it out if you still have the problem.

I'd be leaning towards outter cv joint or wheel bearing. When a bearing goes it can make a humming sound or a ticking sound. the ticking sound from a faulty bearing is not common though. WHen the bearing is faulty it can move the brake disc and slap the pads in the carrier..causing a clicking noise. You can test a bearing by moving the wheel up/down right/left..note if the are any play and where it's detected, make sure the wheel is suspended off the ground for it makes things easier to test the bearing. The outter cv is the most common fault. To test an outter cv joint, you can find a nice size empty parking lot and drive in a circle with the steering full lock to the left then full lock to the right..you don't need to go fast. Note which side makes any ticking/clicking noises. If a side is making noises when turning at full lock, theres still another way to test it to be 100% certain. Have someone sit in the car..jack up that side making noise..enough to get your chest area under the subframe(use stands for safety, also don't open the door with only side side jacked up). Check and see if that side has grease inside the cv boot(if none replace cv joint or complete shaft..if it's greased keep reading)Have the person in the car hold the brakes..then use large channel lock pliers or a pipe wrench to try and turn the half shaft submitting noises. Try and note any play in the half shaft..keep in mind the transaxle will try and move so make sure the brakes are applied with you under the car.
I hope this helps...
