im lookin for sum1 who has 4 205/40/17, or sumthing close to that, that will fit on a 17" rim... and also with good tread and sumwere in the orlando area... so drop me a line if any1 has anything that could help me out... mauikris196@aol.com

if you are planning on running those on a cav or sunfire, they size is going to be way off.
if how ever you are looking to run those on a civic, you will be all gravy.
for a j-body, try running a 215/40 or 215/45, cant remember what best off the top of my head.
Injection is nice but id rather be BLOWN!
215/45 or a 225/45 on a 17 inch rim. that's the closest size to run to keep from throwing the speedo off by too much.

ok that works... i only said 205/40/17 kuz i know for a fact that they wont rubb on the dish on the strut that the spring sits on... but yea does any 1 have 4 215/40/17???

215/40/17 is too small. if you have the correct offset nothing is gonna rub.

btw we have classfieds and regionals for a reasonIt depends on how wide the wheel is! Most of us have 7" wide wheels. If you want them to be level then 215 are the correct size. If you have 7.5" wheels you can then get teh 225's, but that is just me.

i agree with that but look at the series he wanted. a 40 series tire on a 17in rim is gonna be too small
