Offset help...

Yes Ive searched and read thru all posts about this but still unsure about a few things. I am looking at some wheels that are 18x8 with a 35 offset. I know there are a few ppl here that are running them and even a few people with 19x8s with 35 offset...the only thing that concerns me is that all of those I have seen with rims that wide with that offset none of them have rims with a lip. Is there anything else that would come into play here?? Does the lip change anything?? I dont want wheels that are gonna bulge from under my car and deffinitely dont want tires getting shredded by the fenders.

Here are the wheels Im looking at: clicky

the lip shouldn't change anything as far as the offset and rim width goes. it's still an 8" rim. 35mm offset is a pretty large offset. I would think you would have to roll your fenders to keep these from rubbing. I've got 17x8's at a 38mm offset, and they're pretty close to rubbing. be careful with your tire width. I would say stick to a 225, maybe a 215.

What kind of drop are you running? I dont plan on lowering more than 1.8"
